Whats up! Please help lol - Guild Wars Forums

Hello everyone, these forums have been super helpful. But i've searched for my current issue and havne't found a solution so i've decided to post.

My problem is, is that i have like 4-5 quests to be done, and none of them will give me a green direction arrow so i know where to go, please help!

Look under the quest description it will say

Name here (place here)

Isn't that just the name and place of the person who assigned you the quest?
And is this common to happen what i'm experiencing?

you didnt go through the academy did you?

if not sometimes you need to cycle through the quests to get the arrow to come back when the quest log updates

edit

what are a few of the quests in question and have you tried zoning to another area and seeing if the arrow shows again?

You won't get the green arrow if you are too far away from the step/goal (like a couple zones away or more). The log should give you an adea of the basic area, it's up to you to get close enough for the arrow to show up.
